K-1st grade is going through the Old Testament.  They are currently in the book of Daniel.

Bible Explorers

Children and families with children are very important to us. We offer classes for all ages during our 9:15 Sunday school hour. We also provide biblically sound, Christ-centered children’s instruction which we call Bible Explorers. Bible Explorers is provided for children 5 years old through 2nd grade and meets during our 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning worship service. The children will be with their parents for the first part of the main worship service and are then dismissed to B.E. just prior to the preaching. Parents can pick up their children at the conclusion of the worship service.

Youth

Our youth ministry currently meets during the Equipping Hour on Sundays beginning at 9:15 am.  Please call the church for more details (916) 786-6857.

Men’s Updated!

Our men’s ministry desires to build up godly men through God’s Word and to glorify Christ. We do this primarily through our monthly men’s breakfasts. Our men’s breakfasts occur on the last Saturday of the month and are spent together in fellowship surrounding the study of God’s Word and prayer.

Men’s Retreat

The Men’s Ministry will be joining with Community Bible Church of Vallejo for their Men’s Retreat.  The retreat will be held in October at Mount Gilead Christian Conference Center. Please call the church for more details.

Women’s Updated!

The Purpose of Women’s Ministry is no different than the purpose of the church itself, to equip the saints for service that the body might be built up, growing in Christlikeness for the glory of God.

“… for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine…but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:12-16

Women’s Ministry’s, therefore, strives to equip the women of Grace Bible Church with the Word as it relates to general doctrine and more specifically, as it relates to God’s design for women.

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

“Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.” John 17:17

“Then the Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make for him a helper suitable for him.’” Genesis 2:18

Women’s Bible study is available at two different times (different studies):

- Evening Ladies’ Bible Study meets 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.  Check out the calendar for more details.

- Morning Ladies’ Bible Study meets 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. at the church.  Check out the calendar for more details.

Prayer Ministry

Meets weekly on Wednesdays at GBC at 6:30 p.m. in Room 6

Home Fellowship Group Updated!

Meets weekly on Thursdays at the Santiago home from 7:00-9:00 p.m.  We will begin our Summer Schedule on July 1st with a Day at the Lake.  Other activities are planned, please call the church for more details.
